Sarah brings more than two decades of experience across asset management, consulting and non-profit finance and leadership to CDCU. Most recently she spent four and a half years as Deputy Director, Finance and Operations at the International Rescue Committee’s (IRC) Salt Lake City and Missoula offices. Prior to joining IRC, she spent more than 10 years in various fund accounting, portfolio analysis and investor relations roles at T. Rowe Price, OppenheimerFunds, and Integrated Corporate Relations in Baltimore, Maryland, and New York City. She also worked as an independent consultant assisting small businesses with establishing business plans, operating budgets, and financial reporting systems prior to transitioning to the non-profit industry.
Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics and Modern Languages and Linguistics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and an MBA from New York University. She has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Outside of work, Sarah serves on the Board of Directors for Women of the World (HTTPS://WWW.WOMENOFWORLD.ORG/), a 501(c)(3) that helps forcibly displaced women in Utah achieve self-reliance, economic success and a voice in the community, she loves traveling, hiking and most importantly, spending time with her son.
