Mortgage Assistance
Mortgage assistance is awarded to approved applicants as a grant. CDCU applies for funding from a variety of federal and private sources every year, so it is best to connect with a CDCU Intake Specialist to determine when funding is available and for which areas, or any other resources that may be of assistance. Due to limited availability, mortgage assistance awards are competitive and are awarded on a first-come, first-qualified basis. Even if we are unable to provide you with financial assistance, our HUD-certified housing counselors can help you with foreclosure prevention counseling.
You may be eligible if you:
- Are facing a temporary financial crisis
- Occupy the property as the principal residence
- Complete financial counseling with a CDCU housing counselor
- Make no more than 100% of area median income
